Announcements West Ridge SDA Fellowship February 10, 2007

• West Ridge Valentine's Social - Saturday night, February 10, 2007 at 7:30 pm in the Chinook Winds gymnasium. Please bring appetizers, games, and items for drinks. Wear something red or pink and there will be an award for the couple who comes dressed the best!
• The ABC Bookmobile will be at the Calgary Central Church on February 11 & 12 from 10 am to 5 pm.
• The next West Ridge Planning Committee meeting is on February 12, 2007 at Rachel & Julian Miranda's at 7:00 pm.
• Men's Bible Study - Tuesday, February 13, location and time to be announced.
• Calgary Women's Bible Study - Cancelled this week. Continuing next week with "The Next Door Saviour" by Max Lucado. More information to come.
• Cochrane Women's Bible Study - Thursday, February 15 at 7:30 pm. Contact Monika (851-5501) or Lara (208-3751)
• There will be an Evanglism series in April 2007. This will be led out by local members of West Ridge. Contact Jeremy (jeremy@west-ridge.org or 244-3758) for more information. Please keep this in your prayers and be open to inviting your friends to attend. More details to follow.
• Pastor Honey will be preaching at West Ridge for 2 Sabbaths each month. If you have any speakers you would like to hear on the other Sabbaths, please contact Nicole Price (nmprice01@shaw.ca or 228-2546).
• Staff applications are available to work at Foothills Camp this summer. If you would like an application, contact Philip (phwright@shaw.ca or 241-9249)
  
• Alberta Women's Retreat - March 30-April 1, 2007 at the Red Deer Lodge. Speakers include Carla Baker - Keynote speaker, Pastor Honey Todd - mid-morning speaker, and Cynthia Campbell - early morning speaker. The theme is Getting It Together. There will be a Hat & Gloves Fashion Show on Saturday evening for entertainment. Applications will be coming soon!
  
• CUC/PAA Evening at Calgary Central SDA Church on February 10, 2007 at 5:00 pm. There will be Vespers followed by a light supper and an opportunity to hear about what's happening on the campus. For more information, contact the CUC Alumni Office at 1-800-661-8129 ext. 8 or alumni@cauc.ca.
• There will be a Valentine's Day Chinese Banquet at the Central SDA Church Auditorium on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at 5:30 pm. The event is sponsored by the Calgary Crusaders Pathfinder Club. There will be a 10-course Chinese dinner, music and entertainment. Proceeds will be used to help the Pathfinder club attend the 2009 International Pathfinder Camporee in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Please contact a member of the Pathfinder Club or Michele Edgson at 239-4439. Please reply by February 4, 2007 if you would like to attend.
  
• There will be a Basketball 3 on 3 Tournament on Sunday, February 25th at CWAA. The teams must be co-ed and one team member of the three has to be under the age of 14. The cost is $20 to register and all proceeds are to go towards fundraising for a new gym floor. Please call the school to register at 286-5686. The money raised from the tournament will go towards a new gym floor.
